Michael has over 25 years of experience in leadership and engineering roles, He has a B.S. in Nuclear Engineering and completed 8 years of active United States Naval service in the Navy Nuclear Power Program. Prior to joining Smith Industrial Services, he spent 14 years in manufacturing with International Paper Company and continued to develop very structured and process-oriented skills. Once he joined Smith Industrial Services Michael managed the Chemical Business until he was selected for his current role as Executive Vice President. Michael has specialized training in Root Cause Failure Analysis, is a Six Sigma Black Belt, and is very advanced in other problem-solving skills. He is responsible for all operations and business management.
